Do we have to comply with accessibility law?
A pure information site of a trade business usually does not fall under the German BFSG; it covers online consumer contracts, and micro-enterprises are exempt for services. The design is checked against WCAG 2.2 AA anyway.
Who looks after the site afterwards?
You or your web designer. The handover pack explains changing copy, hosting and updates.
